My Life

This was the final project and of course was the biggest one. It took a long time to do it, especially because i don't have a mac to work on it at home. And of course i turned it in late, so i wasn't as satisfied with it as i had wished to be. We had to gather pictures about our lives from when we were babies until now and we had to talk about them and basically go through out life. We also had to find information on the year we were born like who was the president and the top 10 songs and national and global newspaper headlines and academy award winning movies and actors and actresses. I really liked this project and wanted to go more into detail about my life, but i didn't have enough time to do other things besides my family and what i like to do. I wanted to go into detail about friends and vacations and all of that. If i would of done that i would have been more satisfied with the project. But all in all it was a fun project, i like to talk about my family and things i like to do because my family is my life, they mean everything to me.

Music Genome

This project was a fun but long project. We had to choose a genre of music and do at least fifteen slides of the history, background, origins, singers, bands, groups, general characteristics, geographical considerations, and the roots of the genre. We also had to put at least seven songs on the presentation. It had to me a minimum of two minutes and a maximum of five minutes. We also had to put images and a video have a certain music group we mentioned at the end. i chose rock because i like rock. I didn't do a certain type of rock but i did rock in general and listed most of the different types of rocks. I started with the beginning of the history of rock; the fifties with Jimi Hendrix. And then went on up the years presenting the different types of rocks that emerged throughout the years. I did not get to turn this project in on time because i do not have a mac laptop to take home and work on it, i have to use the classroom macs. I enjoyed the research and discovery part of this project. I liked finding all the different types of rocks i did not no was out there. I knew a lot about rock but I did not no everything. It interesting to see the kinds of rock that emerged throughout the years. Overall i enjoyed this project but it was kind of a hassle when it came to the presentation.

1st Part of StoryBoard Group Project

In this project my group chose to do health class in our project. We had to describe what health class is, what you do in it, when it is, how its run, why you have to take it, who the teacher is, the cost of the class and how long the class is. And we had to present this on a slideshow of about eight to ten slides, one being a quote that has something to do with health and one being a citation page and one being the title page with everyone's name in the group. Also every slide had to have a picture pertaining to the information presented on the slide. This project forced us to work as a group and as a group we were able to finish it well. i will say that we could have done a little better but overall we did good.

Iphoto

This project was a bit of a pain. I just no turned it in when it was due like 2 or 3 weeks ago. Of course thts because i was behind. We had to find ten pictures of letters of our name in everyday things. And then we had to find ten pictures that represent us, things that we like and stuff like that. It was difficult because i couldn't find all the letter i wanted, but everntually i faound them. And the pictures of our favorite things was pretty simple. I got pictures of  guitar, music sheets, a soccer ball, and all that good stuff. In this project i learned how to use iphoto which can be a very useful tool. I wasn't a big fan of this project but I did it.

Podcast

This was project was a little more lengthy this time. We had to use garageband. We had to pick a movie that we like and write out a script or summary of it. Then we had to find at least seven pictures of the movie. We also had to have music and the slideshow. This project was helpful in a sense that it helps me learn how to use GarageBand app. and also ichat and all that. Also helped me appreciate more the movie that i chose to do. I chose to do Treasure planet because its one of my favorite movies. Its full of action and adventure. And the story is great, the theme as well. And two of the songs in the movie were performed by Johnny Rzeznik. I liked this project more than the others that we did.

Charity Mail Merge

This project was a little harder than the m&m project in the sense that i had to choose a company i was gonna represent, make up ten recipients, make up their addresses, write a letter that explained who i was and why I was contacting those people, what we were doing, when it was, and for who the charity was for. This took a little time, we had to use two programs; Excel and Word. Then, with the help of my teacher, i had to merge the letters so that i could send it to all ten people at a time. This project was pretty neat because i did not no that you could send multiple letters at a time., and i guess that was the purpose of this project.

M&M Project

This project was not too difficult. What we had to do was create a chart showing the total and average of m&ms in a single bag for 4 bags. Then we had to find the total and average of all four bags together. We had to do this on an excel doc. which i had never used before. So when it came to calculating the totals and averages only using the tool on excel, i was a little lost but i figured it out. I guess the whole purpose of this project was for us to use excel and learn more about how to use it.
